In Their Own Story

Soma Yukihira, an aspiring chef, enrolls at Tōtsuki despite Erina Nakiri's objections. The narrative follows their interactions as Soma challenges students in shokugeki competitions. A major turning point occurs during the Moon Festival when Azami Nakiri takes over the school, leading to a schism where Erina joins Soma's rebel faction against "Central." This culminates in a team battle known as a Regiment De Cuisine, resulting in Azami's defeat and Erina becoming Headmaster. Later, Asahi Saiba infiltrates the academy and abducts Erina with the intention of marrying her. To rescue her, Soma, Megumi Tadokoro, and Takumi participate in BLUE, an invitation-only competition organized by the World Gourmet Organization under Mana Nakiri. The series concludes with Soma and Erina facing each other in the final match of BLUE, where she acknowledges his cooking but insists on calling it "disgusting." In the epilogue, years after graduation, Soma returns to challenge Erina once more.
